2008 Sea Ray 350 Sundancer - V-Drives

2008 Sea Ray 350/370 Sundancer V-drives

Our low-hour 2008 Sea Ray 350 Sundancer is fully loaded and is powered by twin-370 hp Mercruiser 8.1S Horizon DTS V8 gasoline inboard V-drives (368 hours). Just detailed.  Cruises around 29 MPH and tops out over 36 MPH. The 350 Sundancer was the flagship in the Sundancer lineup this year (it was later relabeled the 370 Sundancer).  The generous dimensions of this express-style boat make it exceptionally qualified for cruising and entertaining. A roomy interior with forward V-berth, big mid-stateroom and convertible salon sofa can sleep six in comfort.  Plus thereʼs a full galley and head, and a 26″ flatscreen TV with remote DVD player. In addition our boat is equipped with:

Kevin Falvey, from Boating Magazine writes: “…During my test, it [the 350 Sundancer] planed readily and assertively, never causing a loss of visibility over the bow. It ran with grace and felt balanced on all points of sea. When I spun the wheel and quartered the wind and waves, a move sure to produce a wet ride aboard most boats, we all stayed dry even in 3′ to 4′ seas. With the tide ebbing, the ride back through the inlet inspired confidence: The 350 Sundancer never felt as if it were slipping backward as we climbed the rollers. I was pleased with the twin 370-hp Mercruiser 8.1S Horizon V-drives that powered my test boat. Boating Magazine June 2, 2008

The 350 sports a large fixed window on each hull side, to better illuminate the Sundancer trademark midcabin. A composite hardtop integrated with the standard radar arch providing a nicely sheltered bridge deck and covered cockpit seating area as well.  A starboard walkway entrance with a glass door (helps when docking). A neat transom seat folds out of the lazarette, allowing you to sit and watch the kids swim. A large L-shape settee occupies the entire port side. A large combined starboard wet bar/grill is to the starboard side. Both the double-wide helm seat and the port-side passenger seat pivot to face aft, spinning 180 degrees effectively converting your cockpit into a conversation pit. Our boat has the upgraded wetbar that in addition to the sink and solid surface countertop also has an electric grill.

Belowdecks the 350 Sundancer’s hull windows and two fixed skylights, plus a deck hatch makes for an airy and bright cabin. 6’7” of headroom and more space than its predecessor (thanks to the dead straight salon settee and straight stairs). The forward master cabin’s berth is equipped with an electrically adjustable recliner. It’s easy to get in and out of, and reading lamps are strategically placed and wired with three-way switches so that they can be controlled from either the salon or while lying in the berth. You’ll also be pleased to find a total of three refrigerators aboard. Between the drawer and built-in units in the galley, and the one at the cockpit wetbar, you won’t need to haul a cooler. Two TV sets in the cabin, a fully equipped galley. Sleeps 6.
